The car featured in the photo is a 1967 Crown.
The owner, who is originally a fan of Japanese classic cars, decided to purchase this car because of its museum-quality condition.
The solid black exterior color gives it an even more dignified look.
The exterior is in such good condition that it's hard to believe that 57 years have passed.
The current owner painted the lower part of the door molding about 8 years ago (not sure). There is no sheet metal work, only paint. With a car of this age, rust on the body is of concern, but there is almost none, and the side sills and lower parts of the doors are also in very good condition.
However, there was some rust peeling off in the center of the tip of the hood.
The interior is also in very good condition.
The feel and design of the traditional high-quality silk fabric seats are wonderful, and the cushions are not worn out and are extremely comfortable to sit in. The feel and design completely surpass modern luxury cars that use genuine leather-like PVC.
The moldings on the ends of the pillars still have the vinyl from when they were new.
The shop where I purchased the car has informed me that the car has been driven.
He said he hasn't noticed any problems while driving it now.
The fuel pump and hose were replaced about two years ago.
When I test drove it from the passenger seat, I could confirm that the engine revved up smoothly and there were no strange noises while driving.
Although I have enjoyed classic cars for a long time, I feel like it's time to move on from them, so I decided to feature this one in the magazine.
The vehicle is located near Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
