About the Porsche Boxster (981 model)
--------------------------------
The Porsche Boxster (981 model) was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland in the spring of 2012.

Debuting in Japan on June 22, 2012, the 981 model, the third generation Boxster, has a larger wheelbase and track compared to its predecessor, the 987 model, and comes standard with 18-inch wheels (19-inch wheels are standard on the Boxster S), giving it a more modern and aggressive design.

Like previous Boxsters, the body parts share many parts with the 991 911. 47% of the chassis is made of aluminum, magnesium alloy is used around the center tunnel, and static torsional rigidity is increased by 40%.

As a result of this, the Boxster is 25kg lighter than the 987 model, coming in at 1,310kg (MT), and the Boxster S is 35kg lighter at 1,320kg (MT). The 981 Boxster is available with two engines: a 2.7-liter direct injection engine and a 3.4-liter direct injection engine, with the 3.4-liter engine installed in the Boxster S.
In addition, with consideration given to fuel economy and environmental performance, the car is equipped with an auto start/stop (idling stop) function. A 6-speed MT and a 7-speed PDK transmission are available.

In 2016, a minor change was made and it evolved into the later model called the 982 type.
At this time, the Boxster and Cayman were given the new name "718".

About the vehicle we are introducing
――――――――――――
The vehicle we are introducing this time is a 981-type Porsche Boxster.
The engine is a 2.7-liter flat-six engine, and the transmission is a 6-speed manual.
The current owner purchased the car from a Porsche Center as a certified pre-owned vehicle.
The first owner purchased it as a GT3 connection, so he gave it up after only one year.
The mileage at the time of purchase was 4,664 km, and the condition was excellent.
After purchasing it, the current owner has maintained it as a weekend drive car for 10 years.
The Boxster is in very good condition because it is not driven on rainy days, has a car wash fetish, and is stored in an indoor garage, so it is less likely to deteriorate due to ultraviolet rays.
What is particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness of the suspension, engine area, and underbody.
I don't think it is this clean even after 10 years.
I would like you to check it out when you check the actual car.

Below is a list of options for this vehicle.
- Boxster S 19-inch wheels + N-certified P-ZERO tires (4 new tires replaced in December 2023)
- Color crest wheel caps
- HID (with PDLS)
- PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management)
- Heated seats
- Airbag cancellation module (no ISOFIX fixing brackets)
- LED side markers for 911 GT3 Turbo
- Floor mats
- Footwell storage net
- Smoker package
All of these are genuine Porsche products.
In addition, the interior and trunk lights have been converted to LED. (Aftermarket products)

The current owner has been driving successive generations of Boxsters (986, 987, and 981). He really likes the 981 model, but his desire to pursue the ever-evolving Boxster has grown stronger, and he is now heading for the next step. He requested that the car be featured on Enthusiasts' website so that it can be passed on to someone who loves and will cherish it.

Appearance
--
The white body has an elegant feel, but once the engine is started, it changes completely and makes you feel like an animal hunting for prey.
The headlights are two vertical projector lights.
The taillights are oval shaped and wrap around the corners, so they are highly visible lights that can be seen from any angle.
The convertible soft top is made of canvas and has no fraying or scratches. The convertible soft top takes about 9 seconds to open and close, and can be opened and closed while driving at speeds of 50km/h or less. It can also be opened and closed from a short distance away using the keyless remote control switch.
The aluminum wheels are genuine 19-inch wheels for the Boxster S, and the tire sizes are 235/40ZR19 for the front and 265/40ZR19 for the rear. There is no spare tire, but it is equipped with a puncture repair kit.

Interior
――
The interior is different from the previous 987 model, and has the same atmosphere as the 991 model.
The center console design is reminiscent of the Carrera GT.
The lowered seat position gives a feeling of being wrapped even when the convertible soft top is open, allowing you to concentrate on driving.
The interior color is black with silver accents, asserting that it is a sports car. Everywhere you look, it is clean and neat.
There were no particular areas of concern.

Post-interview notes
――――――
I took a test drive in the passenger seat.
It's been a while since I last test-driven an open-top model, and although I didn't drive it, it was extremely exciting. In particular, shifting up from 2nd to 3rd to 4th gear is a thrilling experience.
Then, shifting in before the corner, stepping on the accelerator pedal from the middle position and racing through the corner is irresistible.
I think you can get a sense of the fun from the conversation with the owner in the video.
The owner has been driving successive Boxsters, so he knows the Boxster inside and out.
It's precisely because of this owner that I recommend this Boxster.

The car is located in Gifu Prefecture.
Since this is a private sale, there is no consumption tax.
Recycling fees and monthly automobile tax will be settled separately
